Since the launch of the Battlestar Hyperion, many of the crew members have had the honor, privilege, and great pleasure to meet and talk with many of the cast and crew from Battlestar Galactica. Whenever possible, members of the Hyperion Chapter take the opportunity to present to those involved in the show with a Certificate and the title of "Honorary Crew Member", as a small token of our appreciation for their work and efforts within the Galactica Universe, and the Science Fiction Genre as a whole. Below is a list of the current Honorary Crew Members of the Battlestar Hyperion.
Jamie Bamber

On May 10, 2008, Jamie Bamber (Lee "Apollo" Adama), was a guest at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle. Several members of the Hyperion had the opportunity to meet and talk with Mr. Bamber during the convention. While signing autographs and posing for pictures, Mr. Bamber was presented with an Honorary Member certificate by Commander Foulger and Colonel Barnes, which he kindly accepted. (Mr. Bamber became the first Honorary Member of the Battlestar Hyperion). Mr. Bamber was very kind and personable, and it was an honor to meet him.

Michael Hogan
Aaron Douglas
Tahmoh Penikett

Emerald City Comicon 2009 brought to the Hyperion Crew yet another opportunity to meet with cast members from our beloved show. During the weekend, we had the great pleasure of meeting and talking with Aaron "The Chief" Douglas, Tahmoh "Helo" Penikett, and "Colonel Tigh" himself, Michael Hogan. All three were presented Honorary Member Certificates during a cast and crew photo shoot. The energy and enthusiasm that these three brought to the convention was undeniably awesome.

Two of our favorite Cylons, Saul and Ellen Tigh (Michael Hogan and Kate Vernon) were together again for the grand event.

On October 22, 2010, the Battlestar Galactica Universe came to Seattle in a giant way. The Sci-Fi Museum opened it's doors to reveal an entire floor to our beloved show. There were ships, uniforms, props and trinkets of every size. Present for this grand event were the Creators of two generations of Battlestar, Glenn A. Larson and Ronald D. Moore.
Sadly, we were unable to speak with Mr. Larson, but by the grace of the Lords of Kobol, we shall hopefully have another opportunity be meet him someday.
Pulling double duty as the original Hearthrob, "Captain Apollo" and the dastardly Tom Zarek was none other than the great Richard Hatch.

And finishing the lineup, was none other than "The Old Man" himself. Admiral William "Husker" Adama.
