On April 4, 2009, three members of the Galactica family arrived via shuttle in the Seattle, Washington area for the 2009 Emerald City
Comicon. Crew members from the Battlestar Hyperion were on hand to greet and welcome them to the area.
Commander Foulger, Colonel Barnes and Captain Haight had the extreme pleasure of presenting Honorary Membership Certificates to
Aaron "The Chief" Douglas, Tahmoh "Helo" Penikett, and Michael "Colonel Tigh" Hogan. We had the opportunity to speak with them at
great lengths, exchanging stories, information and laughs. All three are very warm and friendly individuals.
I would like to thank all the members of the Hyperion that were in attendance at Emerald City, and for representing the ship and the
Colonial Defense Forces as a whole. It was truly a Fraking Awesome day!
