Greetings, and welcome to the Internet home of the Battlestar Hyperion. In March of 2007, plans began to launch a chapter of the Colonial Defense Forces in the Western Washington State area. The Colonial Defense Forces (CDF) is a fan based and run organization, dedicated to the world of Battlestar Galactica. With Members and Chapters spanning the globe, our primary goals are to share our interest in Galactica and have a great time doing it. On May 15, 2007, The Battlestar Hyperion (Registry Number: BSR-53) was launched from the Pacific, Washington area. A Mercury Class Battlestar, the Hyperion is assigned to the Colonial Defense Forces Third Fleet. The crew members aboard the Hyperion consist of a wide variety of people that are involved in all kinds of science-fiction, fantasy, horror, anime and many other forms of fandom. Chapter meetings and events range from convention attendance and participation to charitable events, community activities and service projects. Membership in both the Colonial Defense Forces, and our chapter is free, and all are welcome. Whether you dream of piloting a viper, screaming through the sky, or choose to fly a civilian vessel, the CDF holds many opportunities for you. As you wander through our site, you will see many different departments aboard the ship, all with many different positions just waiting for you.
